this music is kind of a big deal
THE DRAW [SPRING 2014 VISUAL PLAYLIST]
Beyonce — Drunk in Love (Remix) Feat. Kanye West [Explicit]
Bastille and Rudimental’s Brit performance was my favorite. Wow. Just Wow. Bastimental!
Bastille, Rudimental and Ella Eyre at the Brits yesterday. Huge.I'll see you in the future.
“Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming”
The first musical effort from Banks in 2014, a year that is destined to be hers, is Brain, yet again an an-point thing of twisted, shimmering beauty. It departs where she left off with the London EP: intimate and honest written pieces packed in a high-budget jacket of brooding beats. After having worked with the likes of TEED, SOHN and Lil Silva, Banks dived in the studio with Shlohmo for Brain, a dark and lustrous affair.
BBC Sound Of 2014… Well this is some hot music.

OH MYYYYYYY DEEPER HIT 1 MILLIONS VIEWS! Thank you so much for watching! :)
ELLA EYRE - DEEPER
The debut single from Ella Eyre is nothing short of magnificent. Eyre’s voice has a smoky power to it that it commands you to listen. Adding that voice to this song and its brilliant production keeps you coming back.
"Deeper" is one of those songs that hits you in the gut when you hear it. Those butterflies that only come from hearing a big tune for the first time. Eyre croons conversational lyrics like:
“And now you got that feelin’
You say that you mean it
But for me, I just don’t know”
The lyrics are bit like Eyre’s personal style. Her lipstick and dresses are classic, but she pairs that with trainers and her rad hair.
The production, by Two Inch Punch, swirls around her in something I’ll call electronic soul - all pitch shifting, handclaps and trumpets. But it doesn’t reinvent the wheel - that’s what makes it special. It just gives innovative tweaks to a method that works well in pop. That’s why this is a winner.
The video is great, too. A couple western swings to the song in a cafe - it’s great dancing, but really casual looking. Again putting classic touches on something grounded and modern.
Jump on board. Ella Eyre is kind of a big deal.Ella Eyre
STINE BRAMSEN - PROTOTYPICAL (Live)
Stine Bramsen of Alphabeat debuts her first solo single in this live video. “Prototypical” is a big pop song. I don’t know why the pop-perfect Alphabeat has never made a proper splash in the states, but I hope that through this Stine can make a name for herself here and bring the boys along with her when the group reunites.
Can’t wait for the studio version on Jan. 20.

FOXES - LET IT GO FOR TONIGHT
Foxes is back with a huge track and a colorful video. “Let It Go For Tonight” is a giant pop song which will be on her March debut album, “Glorious.”
She also looks stunning as she and her friends move from a monochrome world into a full technicolor food fight, which ends in the open desert.
